I remember reading somewhere that retrieving a key from a fish was regarded as something magical, and that the found key would be the key to understanding the subconscious, or other secrets. The combination of these two things (keys and fish) has long fascinated me. I've always thought it would take a really dumb (and greedy) fish to swallow a key...
