The Doll Collector

I think many stories can be guessed at or told by this image on its own merits--suffice to say, each of the dolls picked up by this young girl has a flaw or other.

This picture began with a sketch and a dropper. I'm satisfied with the results--I've found yet another new way to paint--or to splatter it, anyway!)

Slowly, I'm starting to work on larger paintings again, but of course, I'm working my way up--this one is only 5 by 8 inches. (After eons of only managing to find time for 2.5 by 3.5-inch ACEOs.)
